Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: November 2025

1. Introduction to Our Service

These Terms & Conditions exclusively govern your engagement with wastecarrierslicenceonline.co.uk ("the Website"). By submitting an application through this Website, you acknowledge and agree that you are entering into a contract with a private, independent company for a specialized administrative support service. Our core offering is a thorough "check-and-send" service for Waste Carrier Licence applications, encompassing comprehensive administrative assistance, detailed data review, proactive error checking, and the professional forwarding of your carefully prepared application to the relevant authority.

Important Disclaimer: We are a private entity and unequivocally not the UK Government, the Environment Agency, or DEFRA. Official government services for Waste Carrier Licenses may be available directly from official channels, potentially at a lower cost or free of charge.

2. Our Identity and Role

wastecarrierslicenceonline.co.uk ("we," "us," "our") operates as a dedicated third-party administrative support service. We wish to be explicitly clear:

  • We do not issue Waste Carrier Licenses.
  • We do not process payments on behalf of the Government for statutory fees.
  • We do not claim any official governmental or regulatory authority.
  • Our sole function is to provide expert reviewing and forwarding services.

Our commitment is to support applicants by diligently checking submitted information, reviewing supporting documentation, offering assistance with form completion where applicable, and, crucially, forwarding completed applications to the Environment Agency strictly with your explicit authorisation.

3. The Scope of Your Contract

By utilizing this Website, you expressly understand and agree to the following contractual terms:

  • You are purchasing a professional administrative service from us, distinct from the Waste Carrier Licence itself.
  • You are engaging our company to rigorously review your application, identify and rectify errors or missing information, and subsequently submit your details and the applicable statutory waste licence payment, on your behalf, to the Environment Agency.
  • You provide us with explicit authorisation to submit this information as your designated representative.
  • Our service fee covers our comprehensive administrative, review, and forwarding work.
  • Submitting an application through our Website constitutes a request for our administrative service; it does not guarantee approval of your Waste Carrier Licence by the Environment Agency.

Our service fee is inclusive of all our administrative and service charges. Any statutory licence fees payable directly to the Environment Agency are entirely separate from our service fee, unless explicitly stated otherwise within your selected service package.

4. Transparency and Legal Adherence

We are fully committed to robust transparency and strict adherence to all relevant legal frameworks, including:

  • The Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 (CPRs).
  • The Business Protection from Misleading Marketing Regulations 2008.
  • The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) guidance.
  • UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

It is entirely lawful for private companies to offer services that complement or assist with government processes. However, it is illegal to mislead consumers or imply official status. To uphold our compliance:

  • We consistently state that we are not the Government.
  • Our private business status is clearly and prominently displayed on all pages of our Website.
  • We provide unambiguous and transparent descriptions of our service.

5. Detailed Service Description

Our "check-and-send" style service precisely includes:

  • Thorough review of all customer-submitted information for accuracy and completeness.
  • Proactive identification and highlighting of any missing or inconsistent details.
  • Professional formatting and preparation of your application for submission.
  • Secure forwarding of your completed application to the Environment Agency.
  • Guidance to customers regarding any additional steps or documentation that may be required.
  • Secure maintenance of a detailed record of your submission.
  • Provision of dedicated customer support throughout your application process.

This paid service does not include:

  • The issuance of a Waste Carrier Licence.
  • Any form of guarantee regarding application approval by the Environment Agency.
  • Legal representation.
  • Consultancy on waste management operations or legislative interpretation.

6. Fees and Payment Structure

Our fees are solely for our comprehensive administrative support, review work, and efficient forwarding services. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are explicitly charged for our service, which includes processing and remitting your relevant statutory Waste Licence fee to the Environment Agency on your behalf as an integrated part of our service package.
  • All prices are clearly and prominently displayed prior to final checkout.
  • No charges will be made without your explicit prior consent.
  • The total gross amount at checkout is the required statutory fee for the licence requested plus our administrative charges, for our services as described.
  • Waste licenses are zero rated for VAT, as are our services. If you are a VAT registered business, there are no VAT charges to collect. The invoice you receive with your Waste Carrier Licence CBDU number confirmation is the only trading cost.

7. Refund Policy

A refund for our administrative service may only be requested under the following condition:

  • We have not yet commenced the review or processing of your application.

Refunds cannot be issued under these circumstances:

  • You submitted incorrect details.
  • You choose to withdraw your application after our processing has begun.
  • The Environment Agency rejects your application.
  • You assert that you believed you were on an official government site, despite our clear and repeated disclaimers.
  • You fail to provide required information in a timely manner.

All refund requests must be submitted in writing to: support@wastecarrierslicenceonline.co.uk.

8. Processing & Forwarding Timeframes

We endeavour to review and forward applications within:

  • 1-48 business hours for standard submissions.
  • Faster processing times may be offered as a premium option.

Please note that timeframes may be extended if required information is missing or incomplete.

9. Customer Responsibilities

As our valued customer, you are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate, truthful, and complete information.
  • Ensuring your business genuinely meets all statutory Environment Agency requirements.
  • Responding promptly and completely to any requests for missing documents or additional information.
  • Acknowledging that the ultimate approval of your Waste Carrier Licence is solely at the discretion of the Environment Agency.

You agree not to use this Website or our services for any fraudulent or unlawful activity.

10. No Affiliation With Government Bodies

We reiterate we are not the Environment Agency, DEFRA, GOV.UK, or any other governmental or regulatory authority. We are an entirely independent third-party support service.
